There are many variables that need to be considered when designing a cleaning and maintenance programme including, physical properties of the stone, abrasion risk, environmental factors, the maintenance budget and the competence of the maintenance personnel.
It is highly recommended that a maintenance professional be consulted if there is any doubt whether or not a specific method or product is safe and effective. If this is not possible always try a test on a corner or out of sight area.
